Spaghetti & Meat Sauce French Bread

This Spaghetti & Meat Sauce French Bread is a kid friendly meal.  It's a recipe that can easily be partially prepared in advanced then quickly put together on a busy weeknight.  If you have leftovers, they heat up really great too!

Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Spoon
  • 2 Aluminum Foil

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French Bread
  • 3 cups Spaghetti and Meat Sauce
  • 1 ¾ cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 Italian Herbs optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Warm up the spaghetti and meat sauce.
  • Slice French bread horizontally.
  • Spoon and spread spaghetti and meat sauce over the face side of both pieces of French Bread.
  • Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over meat sauce. Then sprinkle on the cheddar cheese.
  • Loosely tent foil over the bread boats and place int he oven to bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake another 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Sprinkle with Italian herbs. Slice and serve immediately.
