- 1 ½ lb Ground Beef
- 6 Hamburger Buns
- 6 Slices Swiss Cheese
- 12 strips Bacon
- ⅔ cup Pepper Jam
- 6 Leaves Lettuce
- 1 Season Salt
Cut each strip of bacon in half and cook the bacon according to package instructions. Cook it until it is slightly crisp, but pliable. Do not cook it until it is brittle or crumbly.
Make 6 hamburger patties and grill, fry, or bake them. If desired, season with seasoned salt.
In a fry pan over low heat add the pepper jam and the cooked bacon halves. Let them heat up together, stirring occasionally. Once hot, remove from the heat.
Once the burgers are cooked add a slice of Swiss cheese to each one and let it melt.
Put the burger on a bun and top with pepper jam bacon and lettuce leaves.
Serve immediately.
