Lightly flavored seasoned rice is the perfect side dish for a flavorful entree or for when you want something simple.  This recipe comes together quickly and easily.  The hardest part is waiting for the rice to cook up.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Jasmine rice
  • 1 ½ - 2 cups Water Use package instructions
  • ½ tsp Garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp Onion flakes
  • 1 cube Chicken Bouillon
  • tsp Marjoram flakes dried, optional
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 1 Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Use the amount of water the rice package instructs you to use for 1 cup of rice.
  • Measure and put all ingredients into a medium saucepan.
  • Cover and using medium heat bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and let simmer for 12-15 minutes or until all the water is absorbed.
  • Remove from the heat and let set for 5-10 minutes.
  • Fluff with a fork and serve.
