Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 ¼ cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg beaten
  • 4 tbsp Salted Butter melted
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl add flour, sugar, and baking powder. Whisk together.
  • In a separate bowl mix together the milk, beaten egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  • Pour the wet ingredients in with the dry ingredients and whisk together until the batter is smooth. Let rest for about 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the griddle to 350 degrees or if you are using a frying pan preheat it on medium heat.
  • Add butter or oil to the pan. Pour in the pancake batter and fry for a few minutes until several bubbles form on the pancake. Flip the pancake(s) and cook until the other side is golden brown.
  • Serve immediately. If you are making multiple batches of pancakes, they can be kept warm in the oven on 170 degrees until you are ready to serve them.
