Equipment

  • 1 Electric Fry Pan or a large fry pan
  • 1 4 cup bowl
  • 1 Whisk or fork
  • 1 Plate

Ingredients

  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 20 oz loaf Texas Toast Bread
  • 1 Butter for greasing the pan

Instructions

  • In a bowl whisk the eggs. Add the milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Whisk together well.
  • Heat up a skillet to 350 degrees or preheat a fry pan on medium heat. Butter the bottom of the skillet/fry pan.
  • Pour some of the egg mixture on a dinner plate. Quickly dip each side of each slice of bread in the egg mixture and place on to the hot buttered skillet. Don't soak the bread in the egg mixture. A quick coating on each side is perfect.
  • Fry the French toast for about 1-2 minutes per side or until golden brown. Flip and fry the other side 1-2 minutes.
  • Dust with powdered sugar, top with fruit and yogurt, or syrup. Serve immediately.
