Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ cup Onion finely diced
  • 2 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 28 oz Canned Tomato Sauce
  • 3 oz Tomato Paste
  • ½ tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Over medium heat sauté minced onion in olive oil until translucent and soft. Add in the mince garlic and the dried basil. Sauté for about 1 minute more.
  • Add in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, Kosher salt, and sugar.
  • Salt & Pepper to taste and mix well.
  • Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Let simmer for about 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally.
