28ozCanned Tomato Sauce
3ozTomato Paste
½tspKosher Salt
1pinchSugar
Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
Over medium heat sauté minced onion in olive oil until translucent and soft. Add in the mince garlic and the dried basil. Sauté for about 1 minute more.
Add in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, Kosher salt, and sugar.
Salt & Pepper to taste and mix well.
Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Let simmer for about 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally.
