- ½ small Onion diced
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1 lb Sausage browned
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 64 oz Chicken Broth low sodium
- 2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Ozro Pasta uncooked
- 2 handfuls Spinach fresh
- 1 Salt & Pepper to taste
Rough cut the fresh spinach. Set aside.
In the Dutch oven pan over medium heat, brown ground pork with the diced onion and minced garlic. Drain off the grease.
Add the Italian seasoning, chicken broth, heavy cream, and add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to a slow boil. Add the orzo pasta and cook for about 8-9 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
Add in the spinach and stir until wilted.
It's ready to serve!
