  • ½ small Onion diced
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 lb Sausage browned
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 64 oz Chicken Broth low sodium
  • 2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Ozro Pasta uncooked
  • 2 handfuls Spinach fresh
  • 1 Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Rough cut the fresh spinach. Set aside.
  • In the Dutch oven pan over medium heat, brown ground pork with the diced onion and minced garlic. Drain off the grease.
  • Add the Italian seasoning, chicken broth, heavy cream, and add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to a slow boil. Add the orzo pasta and cook for about 8-9 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
  • Add in the spinach and stir until wilted.
  • It's ready to serve!
