Cinnamon Apple syrup is about as close as you can get to having apple pie for breakfast without actually having apple pie for breakfast. It makes your pancakes, waffles, or French Toast taste like dessert for breakfast. It's a delicious twist on breakfast syrup.
Over medium heat, melt the butter in a frying pan.
Add the apple pieces and the cinnamon. Stir occasionally until the apples are softened.
Add the syrup and the vanilla. Stir well. Cook over medium heat until the syrup begin to boil. Turn the heat to low. Cook for a few more minutes until the apples are translucent.
Remove from heat and serve immediately over pancakes, waffles, or French toast.
