Equipment

  • 1 2-quart baking pan or an 8x8 baking pan

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef browned
  • ½ medium Onion diced
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 ea Beef Boullion Cube
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • tsp Thyme fried
  • 1 tsp All-Purpose Seasoning
  • 4 medium Potatoes sliced ¼-inch thin
  • cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 3 strips Bacon cooked & crumbled

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 2-quart baking dish or an 8x8 baking pan.
  • On medium heat brown the ground beef and the onion. Drain.
  • Microwave 1 beef boullion cube in ½ cup of water in 30 second increments until disolved. It'll take about 1 to 1½ minutes.
  • Pour the beef broth, flour, all-purpose seasoning, and thyme into the ground. Stir.
  • Put the ground beef mixture into the greased baking dish. Spread evenly.
  • Top with the sliced potatoes. Season with a sprinkle of all-purpose seasoning.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 55 minutes or until the potatoes are fork tender.
  • Sprinkle the cheese and the crumbled bacon over the potatoes and return to the oven for about 3-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve immediately.
