Boiled Garlic Potatoes is a quick simple potato recipe that is a delicious side dish to any meat and vegetable.  When I need something easy from start to finish, this is my go-to dish.  It is also a perfect dish to use up the odd sized potatoes or the ones that have blemishes in them.

  • Clean and slice the potatoes into bite size pieces.
  • Rinse the potatoes. Place uncovered in the saucepan and add water to cover the potatoes.
  • Place on the stove on medium to high heat until boiling. Then reduce the heat to medium to low. It should be at a slow, low boil.
  • Boil until the potatoes they are fork tender. It will be about 10-15 minutes.
  • Drain the water.
  • Add the butter and seasoning to the cooked potatoes. Toss to melt the butter and to coat the potatoes.
  • Serve immediately.
