Simple Blueberry Fluff Salad
This is a wonderfully Simple Blueberry Fluff dump salad using blueberry pie and crushed pineapple. All the ingredients are dumped into a bowl, chilled, and served. It cannot get much easier than that, right?
There are times when I want to make salad really fast for a potluck, or when there are more guests coming than I originally expected, or maybe you just want something sweet to serve with dinner tonight. This is also the perfect salad if you are entertaining a group of people, and you want a recipe that is simple and quick to put together. Sometimes the main course is more time consuming, and you want a simple side. Or maybe you want to spend time with your guests, and you want to minimize your time in the kitchen. This can be prepared in advance and served later.
Ingredients
There are only 5 ingredients in this Blueberry Fluff recipe. It has blueberry pie filling, crushed pineapple, whipped topping, sweetended condensed milk, and miniature marshmallows.
Making it
The hardest part is draining the crushed pineapple and that is really not hard at all. Then everything is dumped into a bowl and stirred together. That’s it. Simple.
Serving
When I put together a meal, I typically think of all of the colors going into that meal. It needs to look good as well as needing to taste good. So not only do you want meals that have complimentary flavors, but you also want lots of color too. We eat with our eyes first.
I love the fact that this salad is a beautiful light purple color. There are not many salads or desserts that are this type of color. So, it’s likely to be the only item of this color when you are serving it, making it compliment so many different foods.
I recently served it with Amazing Pepper Jam Bacon Cheeseburger and Potatoe Salad. It’s great with Tator Tot Casserole and garlic bread.
