- 1 Small Saucepan
- 1 Medium saucepan optional
Ingredients
- 3 cups Pasta uncooked
- 4 cups Broccoli cut into bite sized pieces
- ¾ Lb Polish Sausages cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Garlic minced
- 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes optional
- 1 cup Half and Half
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese shredded
- 1 Salt & Pepper to Taste
Instructions
- Prepare the pasta in the Dutch oven pan according to the package instructions.
- Add the diced polish sausage to the pan of drained pasta. Mix with the pasta. C
- Using the medium saucepan steam the broccoli until it is the desired tenderness. Drain. Add to the pan of pasta and sausage.
- In the small saucepan over medium heat add the olive oil and the minced garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes or until slightly golden. Add the red pepper flakes.
- Reduce the heat to a medium-low heat. Add the half and half. Bring to a slight simmer, stirring very often to prevent scorching. Add the Parmesan cheese and the salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the cheese is melted. Remove from the heat.
- Pour the Alfredo sauce over the pasta, sausage, and broccoli. Stir well. Serve immediately.
