Healthy Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip

Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip

Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip is the perfect healthy snack for kids.  It’s smooth and creamy with protein and dairy ingredients.  If you dip an apple in it, you added some fruit to the snack as well.  Kids loving eating with their fingers and dipping foods.  The more fun they have while eating it, to better they will eat it.  Sliced bananas and this dip are a healthy snack that toddlers can enjoy eating too, which makes this a perfect snack for that you can feel good about serving children of any age.

This dip is not just for children, though.  I am going to admit, I enjoy this Peanut Butter Yogurt dip too.  It’s great for breakfast, even with a cup of coffee.  I like to eat it as a light lunch, or as a snack when hunger attacks.  Typically, I will dip apples in it, but pretzels, graham crackers, bananas are all great foods that I have dipped as well.

Ingredients

A Greek yogurt with more protein and less sugar is a good healthy choice.  I’m always looking for ways to add more protein into what we eat and trying to reduce the amount of sugar.

We’re creamy peanut butter people.  So, when I make the dip it’s creamy.  If you’re chunky peanut butter people, that works too.  The best thing about this is yogurt, peanut butter, and something to dip into it is always in my kitchen.

Serving

I found these really convenient and cool dip clip on Amazon.  They would work great for this dip but also for ketchup, barbeque sauce, syrup, and other things kids like to dip foods into.  These are wonderful if a little one, or you, don’t like your dips or sauces touching your foods.

This dip can also be served with breakfast.  For kids they can dip their pancakes into or spread it on top of their pancakes.

It’s great as a side dish for lunch.  Try it with a sandwich like Pepperoni Pizza Sloppy Joes, macaroni & cheese, a grilled cheese sandwich, or a Quesadilla.

It’s even a great go to for a bedtime snack when you get the munchies and want to keep it healthy.

As you can see this simple Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip has many ways you can eat it and not feel guilty about what you served your children or what you just ate.

Happy Dipping!
