This grape salad recipe is amazing to eat and simple to make. It is a hit with children and adults, too. I typically make this as a snack for my family, but I’ve taken it to family gatherings and to potlucks only to bring home an empty bowl. That is the kind of salad you want to bring to those kinds of events. It’s something that is good for people to eat. It is quick and simple to make. It can be mixed up in minutes and is immediately ready to eat.
Ingredients
This Grape Salad recipe calls for seedless grapes. You can use both red and green grapes, or just one color of grapes. Just make sure they’re seedless, rinsed and picked off the vines.
It’s a good idea to have the cream cheese at room temperature before mixing it. It helps it be creamier when you beat it. Otherwise, it can have some lumps. If it’s not room temperature, you can microwave it on low to help soften the cream cheese to avoid the lumps.
You can also lighten this recipe up by using low fat or fat free cream cheese and low fat or fat free sour cream. Both will work great!
Mixing It
Using a mixer beat the room temperature cream cheese until it is smooth and creamy. Then add the sugar and beat until smooth. Lastly, add the sour cream and the vanilla. Beat again until smooth and creamy. Then fold in the grapes. Store it in a resealable bowl. And it is ready to eat!
I hope you and your family enjoy this simple Grape Salad recipe.
