The Easiest Pepperoni Pizza Sloppy Joes

Pepperoni Pizza Sloppy Joes

This is the easiest Pepperoni Pizza Sloppy Joes recipe, and it is kid friendly.  Yes, it has mostly premade ingredients that you will add to your ground beef.  But don’t we all need a quick and easy recipe sometimes?  This recipe is very quick to put together and it really does taste like pepperoni pizza!

I’m always looking for something simple just like this easy Pepperoni Pizza Sloppy Joes that is a little different than sloppy joes, made rites, or loose meat sandwiches.  It’s nice to have something different to serve the family when I have very little time to prepare the meal.

Making the Pepperoni Pizza Sloppy Joes

The longest and probably most difficult part is browning and draining the ground beef.

Then you add in a jar of pizza sauce and pepperoni pieces.  I used the mini pepperonis.  You can us the larger pieces, but you may want to cut them into smaller pieces.  That’s optional.  Maybe time will determine if you cut the pieces smaller or not.

Once they are mixed up and heated you are ready serve them.

Put a scoop of meat on the bun, top with shredded mozzarella cheese, and add the top bun.  Here is another optional step, you can melt the cheese on the sandwiches by placing them in the oven for a few minutes.  Once the cheese is melted, you can remove them from the oven and add the top bun and serve.

Some Options

There are a few options you can do to modify them to your tastes.

First is melting the cheese which I mentioned earlier.  You can also add additional ingredients that you enjoy on your pepperoni pizza.  Some ideas are olives, onions, peppers, you get the idea.

Are you wondering what you can quickly serve with these?  I make potatoes in the air fryer like Crispy Potato Bites or Homemade Steak Fries.  They cook up about as fast as the meat.  Strawberry Fluff Salad pairs up deliciously with these as well.

These would keep well in a slow cooker to serve at a potluck or a larger family or friends function too.  So, keep these easy Pepperoni Pizza Sloppy Joes in mind!

Happy Cooking!
