Refreshing Spiked Strawberry Lemonade
Refreshing Spiked Strawberry Lemonade is a not so sweet, yet refreshing summer drink. If you want it to be non-alcoholic just omit the vodka.
Yesterday was incredibly hot in Idaho. It was 104 degrees. By evening I wanted something very refreshing, but with a little kick to it. This drink hit the spot. And I really like that it wasn’t so sweet but tasted very refreshing.
Ingredients
The ingredients are simple. Already made lemonade. It’s OK to cheat when creating sometimes. The lemonade with the little bit of added lime juice makes it refreshing and tart, but not sour.
Strawberries. I used fresh ones from my garden, but I would recommend using frozen ones for a colder drink.
Vodka is added, but not really tasted. This makes it a great mixed drink!
Blending
All of the ingredients are added to the blender. Give it all a whirl until it is smooth with no chunks of ice. I have a Ninja Blender. That thing will puree and smooth everything!
Serving
Pour Refreshing Spiked Strawberry Lemonade it into an ice-cold mug. To make it pretty, cut a slice into a strawberry and place it on the rim.
This is great with Southwest Chicken and Bean Quesadillas or any Mexican dish. Or, just add a straw and chill and relax!
Cheers!
