The Magic of a 30-Minute Meal
Busy days don’t mean you have to settle for frozen dinners or boring sandwiches. Pepper steak pasta proves that fast food can still be fancy. This dish combines the rich flavors of a steakhouse dinner with the comfort of pasta, all in the time it takes to binge an episode of your favorite show.
The Secret Ingredients to Success
For a dish this quick, every ingredient counts. Here’s what makes it special:
- The Steak: Choose a tender cut like sirloin or flank steak. Cut it into cubes and cooking in the air fryer helps them stay juicy and flavorful.
- The Veggies: Sweet Bell peppers, sundried tomatoes, and spinach not only add a beautiful burst of color but also provide a sweet, smoky contrast to the savory steak.
- The Sauce: A quick mix of olive oil, garlic, and basil creates a luscious sauce with just the right balance of bold and silky.
- The Pasta: Gemelli, farfalle, rotini, or even penne work well, soaking up all the delicious flavors.
Step-by-Step to Deliciousness
Here’s how to make pepper steak pasta your new weeknight go-to:
- Prep Like a Pro: Slice your steak and chop your veggies before you start cooking. This ensures you can move quickly without missing a beat.
- Air Fry the Steak: Preheat the air fryer, then add the steak cubes and generously sprinkle with All-Purpose Seasoning. Cook to the desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the Veggies: In the skillet, toss in your peppers, sun dried tomatoes, dried basil, and garlic. Cook until they’re slightly caramelized and fragrant. Add the spinach stir until it is wilted.
- Bring It Together: Combine your cooked pasta with the sautéed vegetables, tossing to coat every strand. Add the steak, mixing gently to combine.
Why It Works for Any Night
This dish isn’t just about speed—it’s about satisfying every craving in one bowl. The juicy steak satisfies your protein fix, the pasta adds comforting carbs, and the veggies make it feel fresh and vibrant.

- Go Bold: Use freshly cracked black pepper for a punchier flavor.
